Implementing Observability in Java-based Projects
In the age of microservice architectures and cloud-native applications, it is crucial to understand the state of your applications to maintain an insight of the entire system. For this purpose, we have three instruments at our disposal: logs, metrics and traces – collectively referred to as observability. However, implementing observability in Java-based projects can be challenging, as it requires selecting appropriate tools and techniques that fit the project’s requirements. In this talk, we will therefore look at several options for implementing observability in Java-based projects using not only slides.
