Self-contained Systems: A Different Approach to Microservices
Microservices are the latest hype for software architectures. But just creating a set of small systems is by far not enough. Self-contained Systems (SCS, scs-architecture.org) focus on an architecture approach based on Microservices. It is in particular useful for large systems and complex team structures. SCS allow to efficently develop software in such environments – even in the long run.
This talk explains Self-contained Systems, their advantages and disadvantages and the difference to Microservices.
