Doug Purdy points to this rather long article which starts with a ridiculous comparison — Star Wars and Dune. Pure heresy, IMO, like comparing Britney Spears to Beethoven. Anyway: the rest of the article is very interesting; one thing I didn’t know: Tim O’Reilly’s first book was about Frank Herbert!
